AN OPEN LETTER TO LENDERS & MORTGAGE SERVICERS

By American Homeowner, Teresa Beougher

Today is a new beginning for my self and those associated with LoanSafe.org. Today instead of the usual chatter we have decided to organize, to become a unit, to stand as one.

The “American Dream” that you have perpetuated for the last several years has been discovered recently to be nothing more that an unattainable illusion that you have profited from for the very last time. Homeowners have found that they are nothing more than Mortgage Holders, strapped to your endless merry-go-round of debt. As you sit there day in and day out discussing new ways to lure others into your web of lies, we have sat here day in and day out trying to escape said web with what is left of our lives that you have systematically torn apart. While you look down upon us, as if we are nothing more than your pawns in your endless game of wealth and power.

Your portfolios have been padded for way to long, your comfy corner office with all the fine furnishing has been decorated and redecorated time after time with the hard earned money of taxpayers across this fine nation. I do hope that you have enjoyed your time at the top. You’ve generously received bailout money from the Government that you control and continue to control, but alas, your time is coming to an end. As for the Congressmen that you have tucked so snuggly in your pockets, their time is coming to an end as well.

Did you really think that you could continue business as usual in a time of economic crisis and believe that the American people would idly sit by as you fatten up your wallets once again at our expense? Did it occur to you that we are capable of uniting for the good of all? Did you think that we weren’t educated enough to come together and see thru the smoke and mirrors that are constantly presented to us via the Main Street Media which you control as well?

To those that have portrayed homeowners that are now struggling with mortgages that they cannot pay as being ignorant and living outside their means, please understand that that is not the case in all situations. With unemployment now at 9.7% nationally one must also look at unemployment at the local levels as well. Your fine establishments marketed to the public your sub-prime loans, “why pay rent when you can owe a home for what you’re paying now”. And how we all bought into, and how you all profited from our eagerness to become an American Homeowner Living the American Dream. Foolish we were, foolish we are no more.

Your Credit and Debt cycle will be coming to a halt soon enough. Once upon a time FICO meant something to people, but as the days pass and information is spread thru out the Social Networks that you so blatantly ignore, FICO will be little more than a nasty four letter word in the coming days. You have pushed us aside for the last time.

The Government has offered “Making Homes Affordable” which is nothing more than another stimulus package for and industry that is well over padded to begin with. You sit and spin your lies, half truths and all the while, you expect us to just continue to pay for something that you inevitably plan to take anyway in the end.

We have now taken to the crisis, we have identified it, localized it, defined it and now we will act upon it. We too are capable of uniting and using a crisis to gain the attention of those across the nation that are suffering in the same manner, recruiting them and marching forward to uphold what the founding fathers of this country started. You have twisted the constitution, added your filthy amendments to serve your purposes and have run amok with power and greed.

This is not just for the Mortgage Crisis this is for the Social Crisis that we are facing as a Nation. This is for the freedom of each and ever American that slaves away day in and day out with little to show for it. There was a time where people believed in one another, but you have destroyed that trust and shredded it to little more that scraps of faith. However, we, the people can rebuilt that trust in one another one person at a time. It is possible. The system has held us down long enough and we refuse to go unheard.

Be fully aware that these are not threats we will not be idle. We have taken it far to long to let it continue. Senators start packing your bags come 2010, if you are not for us, you are against us and your days are done. Governors, enjoy your homes that you reside in for the time being, election time will be upon you soon as well and we the people will be serving your eviction notice. Take note State Representatives and all other public offices, your about to receive your pink slips as well.

We’ve wised up to your tactics and we’ve come up with a few of our own. So enjoy your time and I’d suggest you make the most of it now, because it’s all coming to a screeching halt soon.

Best Wishes,

The American People,
